What you need
- A Pinterest account — a free business account is recommended (it unlocks Pinterest's own analytics), but not required.
How to connect
- In SOSPosting, open Integrations and hit Connect on Pinterest.
- Sign in with Pinterest and approve the requested access.
- SOSPosting creates a "My Pins" board for you automatically — Pinterest now appears as a publish target.
Good to know
- Pins are created through Pinterest's official API — no passwords stored, revocable from Pinterest settings anytime.
- Honest status note: Pinterest gates production pinning behind its own app-access review. SOSPosting's upgraded (Standard) access is pending Pinterest's approval — if pinning is temporarily unavailable on your account, that review is why, not your setup.
- Pinterest is a search engine as much as a social network — pins keep driving traffic for months, so descriptions matter.
