Threads integration

Cross-post text updates and images to Threads through Meta's official Threads API — the same upload that goes to Instagram, Facebook, Bluesky and the rest of your channels.

What you need

  • A Threads profile — Threads accounts are tied to Instagram, so you sign in with your Instagram credentials.

How to connect

  1. In SOSPosting, open Integrations and hit Connect on Threads.
  2. Sign in with your Instagram/Threads credentials on Meta's page and approve the access.
  3. Threads now appears as a publish target.

Good to know

  • Posts publish through Meta's official Threads API — no passwords stored, access revocable from Threads settings (Account → Website permissions).
  • Your connection stays alive without re-logins — SOSPosting refreshes the long-lived access token automatically.
  • Honest status note: Meta grants Threads publishing per app review. SOSPosting's review is in progress — until Meta approves it, connecting may be limited to invited accounts.
  • Failed deliveries refund their tokens automatically.
