What you need
- An Instagram Business or Creator account (a personal account won't work for publishing — switching is free in the Instagram app).
- That account linked to a Facebook Page you manage (Instagram's own requirement for publishing tools).
- Admin access to that Facebook Page.
How to connect
- Make sure your Instagram is a Business/Creator account and linked to your Facebook Page.
- In SOSPosting, open Integrations and connect Facebook.
- We automatically detect the Instagram Business account attached to your Page.
- Enable it — Instagram now appears as a publish target.
Good to know
- Instagram requires a business/creator account for all third-party publishing — this isn't specific to SOSPosting.
- Reels are published with platform-correct vertical formatting and metadata.
- Honest status note: the engagement inbox handles your Instagram comments today. Instagram DMs need one more Meta permission that isn't enabled on our app yet, so the DM side of the inbox stays empty until it is — if you connected expecting DMs, that's why, not your setup. Comments are unaffected.
