What you can do once connected
- Publish blog articles with a title, body, tags and a featured image.
- Push products to WooCommerce as proper catalog entries.
- Run automated daily SEO blog posts on a schedule you set.
- Cross-post the same announcement to your social channels at the same time.
What you need
- A self-hosted WordPress site (your own domain; WordPress.com Business plans with plugins also work).
- Your site URL and a WordPress username with author/editor rights.
- An Application Password for that user (a built-in WordPress feature — safer than your real password, and revocable anytime).
How to connect
- In WordPress, go to Users → Profile → Application Passwords.
- Enter a name (e.g. "SOSPosting") and click Add New Application Password.
- Copy the generated password (shown once).
- In SOSPosting, open Integrations → Connect on WordPress and paste your site URL, username and the application password.
Good to know
- The Application Password only grants posting access and can be revoked from your WordPress profile at any time.
- Pair this with automated blog scheduling to publish SEO articles every day without lifting a finger.
