How AI captions work: a caption per network

Published

The slow part of posting to several networks is not the upload. It is writing the same thing five ways. This is the part that gets handed over.

10 seconds, with music. The content on screen is an example; everything it shows is described below.

The short answer

You write a short note about the post. AI turns it into a caption for each network you ticked, written the way that network is used: a caption with hashtags for Instagram, a title, description and tags for YouTube, a feed post for LinkedIn. It writes in the language and brand voice set for your business.

What the film shows

  1. One note in. In the film the note is nine words: a new autumn menu, starting Friday, book a table.
  2. A version for each network. Instagram gets a caption and hashtags, YouTube gets a title, description and tags, LinkedIn gets a feed post in a plainer register. The wording in the film is an example; yours is written from your own note.
  3. Inside each network's limits. The limits differ widely: 2,200 characters on Instagram, 500 on Threads, 300 on Bluesky, 100 for a YouTube title. Each caption is written to fit the network it is for.
  4. One charge. The captions are charged once per post, not once per network.

What it costs

7 tokens once per post, however many networks it goes to. Publishing is charged separately, per network.

What it does not do

  • AI captions are optional. Write your own caption and the 7 tokens are not charged.
  • It works from your note and the brand description you have written. It does not know a price or a date you did not give it.
  • The captions in the film are illustrations, not a promise of specific wording.
