How cross-posting works: one post, many feeds

Published

Cross-posting here does not mean pasting one caption into ten apps. The post is sent to each network in the form that network expects, and each delivery is tracked on its own.

13 seconds, with music. The content on screen is an example; everything it shows is described below.

The short answer

You upload once and tick the networks. The video, photo or product is delivered to each one in its own format, a Reel on Instagram, a Short on YouTube, a pin on Pinterest, and every delivery reports back separately as queued, posted or failed.

What the film shows

  1. One video, five feeds. A vertical video is published as an Instagram Reel, a Facebook Reel, a YouTube Short, a TikTok video and a Threads video.
  2. One photo, up to seven. A photo with a caption goes to Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, Threads, LinkedIn and Bluesky, the six the film shows, and to TikTok as a photo post.
  3. One product, store and socials. A product with a photo and a price becomes a Shopify catalog product or a WooCommerce product, plus promo posts on Instagram and Facebook and a pin on Pinterest.
  4. A status for each delivery. The board in the film is how the dashboard reports it: one row per network, so a failure on one does not hide a success on another. A delivery that fails refunds its tokens automatically.

What it costs

3 tokens per network for a photo or a product post, 5 per network for a video. The five-network video in the film costs 25 tokens, or 32 with AI captions.

What it does not do

  • No single post reaches all ten networks. YouTube takes video, LinkedIn and Bluesky take images, and the stores take products.
  • Each network has to be connected before a post can go to it.
  • Posts can be scheduled up to 60 days ahead, not further.
  • Instagram Stories, LinkedIn video, polls and documents are not published.

Frequently asked questions

How many networks can one post reach?

Up to five for a video (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, Threads) and up to seven for a photo (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, Threads, LinkedIn, Bluesky). It publishes to the ones you have connected and ticked.

What happens if one network fails?

The others are unaffected. Each delivery has its own status, and the tokens for a failed delivery are refunded automatically.

The rest of the series

  • How it works: The whole product in one short film, with a page for each part of it.
  • Telegram bot: Send the bot a photo or video, see the cost, confirm. The whole exchange in 11 seconds.
  • Posting API: One POST to publish, one GET for a status per network, and the three app reviews you skip.
  • AI captions: A few words from you become a caption written for each network. What it writes, and the one charge for it.
  • AI inbox: Comments in one inbox, buyers flagged, a reply drafted in the commenter's language for you to send.
  • Blog autopilot: Topics in, a pace chosen, articles published to your own WordPress site. And why one a day is the right number.
  • Google Ads audit: A nightly review, specific proposals with before and after values, your guardrails re-checked, and your approval.
  • Analytics: Thirty days of reach and top posts in one place, and Shopify revenue tied to the posts behind it.
  • Token pricing: Three numbers, four packs and a worked example: what a post costs when there is no monthly plan.
