How the posting API works: one request

Published

Integrating each network yourself is mostly waiting for approvals: Meta app review, TikTok's Content Posting audit, Google's OAuth verification. The API puts one request in front of all three.

12 seconds, with music. The content on screen is an example; everything it shows is described below.

The short answer

You send one request with the media, the networks and a key scoped to one business. The reply gives you a post id and one target per network. Fetching that id later returns the delivery status of each target.

What the film shows

  1. One request. POST /api/v1/posts with a Bearer key. The body names the post type, the media URL, the networks as providers, and useAi if you want captions written for each network.
  2. One target per network. The response carries a post id and a target for each network you named. In the film those are Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.
  3. Status per target. GET /api/v1/posts/:id returns each target's delivery status, so a failure on one network does not hide a success on another.
  4. The optional parts. Add scheduledAt to publish later. Use the presign endpoint if you would rather upload the file than host it. An MCP server exposes the same account to AI assistants, with five tools.

What it costs

Billed per post in tokens, at the same price as the dashboard: 3 per network for a photo, 5 for a video, 7 once for AI captions.

What it does not do

  • You publish through SOSPosting's apps. Your users connect their accounts to SOSPosting, not to an app with your name on the consent screen.
  • Post type decides reach: a video can go to five networks and a photo to seven. No single request reaches all ten.
  • Views, likes and comments come back for Facebook, Instagram and YouTube targets only.
  • The MCP server cannot buy tokens and does not generate images, video or audio.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need my own Meta, TikTok or Google app?

No. Posts are published through SOSPosting's approved apps, which is the trade-off: you skip the reviews, and the consent screen your users see is SOSPosting's.

How do I know whether a post was delivered?

Fetch the post by its id. The reply lists one target per network with its own delivery status.

The rest of the series

  • How it works: The whole product in one short film, with a page for each part of it.
  • Cross-posting: One video becomes five posts, one photo up to seven. What goes where, and what each network receives.
  • Telegram bot: Send the bot a photo or video, see the cost, confirm. The whole exchange in 11 seconds.
  • AI captions: A few words from you become a caption written for each network. What it writes, and the one charge for it.
  • AI inbox: Comments in one inbox, buyers flagged, a reply drafted in the commenter's language for you to send.
  • Blog autopilot: Topics in, a pace chosen, articles published to your own WordPress site. And why one a day is the right number.
  • Google Ads audit: A nightly review, specific proposals with before and after values, your guardrails re-checked, and your approval.
  • Analytics: Thirty days of reach and top posts in one place, and Shopify revenue tied to the posts behind it.
  • Token pricing: Three numbers, four packs and a worked example: what a post costs when there is no monthly plan.

Post once. Publish everywhere.

Cross-post to Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Shopify and six more platforms from one place — with AI-written captions and Google Ads on autopilot.
